Things that actually help with ANXIETY – Mental Health Mondays

I was inspired to do this by the fact that I had no magnesium tablets for like four days straight and my anxiety was crazy so I was forced to seek some other alternatives for coping with anxiety. These are the things I came up with:

  1. Take a shower
  2. Light a candle
  3. Listen to a song – I was also advised to make an “anxiety playlist”
  4. Watch a show
  5. Drink tea
  6. Draw, Paint, Sketch
  7. Talk to a friend
  8. Exercise or Stretch
  9. Gum helps
  10. Fidgeting with something like a pen or whatever you fancy

These things did actually help. Mainly talking to a friend. I have been trying to find a permanent solution for anxiety for a while now but it doesn’t seem to go away. So I have learned to live with it. There are times when it gets very bad but there are also times when I am perfectly fine. Either way, these are just some tips to help you in case you need it. Try to stay positive. All of it shall pass sooner or later Trust me.
